What is a Field Call?
A field call is when a debt collection agent goes to the debtors location to confirm their address, discuss the implications involved of not paying their debt, make arrangement to have the debt paid on the spot or via approved arrangement.
A field call from a trained and licensed debt collector shows the debtor that your company is taking the outstanding debt seriously and doesn’t intend to simply write it off. Also, information retrieved from field calls is useful in determining whether to issue legal proceedings.
What is a Skip Trace?
Australian Recoveries & Collections use external agents to Skip Trace when there are no contact details or contact information is outdated and our internal skip trace efforts have not produced leads. Skip tracing can result in the location of debtors when traditional sources of information, such as public databases, prove unsuccessful.
